Kadmar Circular No. 16/2013
kadmar Posted on Tuesday, July 2, 2013
The upcoming 30 June protests represent a watershed moment in Egypt.

There is a warning of anticipated violence and riots as opposition groups gear up for protests demanding early elections and withdrawing confidence from President Morsi.

We hope that protests turn out to be peaceful and sabotage of public or private property would be averted

For precaution we will have to inform our business partners of the following recommendations:-

1- Unless very much needed and can not be avoided like (Medivac), Please abstain making any Crew Change in Egyptian Ports as from Friday 28th of June and until the situation is clear.
2- No Cash to Master.
3- Truckling operations for Cargo and Containers will be partly stopped as from 27th
4- Loading and Unloading on 30th might be affected if terminals stevedoring will join the demonstration

As a precautionary action, we will close our office on 30 June but we will have access to our emails and will follow up our work
