Cancellation of Imposed Tug for Vessels Transiting SC with SCGT Less Than 10000.00 Tons



Please find attached letter received from Suez Canal on 24th October 2017 in Arabic language regarding Cancellation of imposed tugs for vsls transiting SC with SCGT less than 10000.00 tons.

Good Day,

Please inform all Shipping agencies and companies that the following will be implemented for any vessel transiting Suez Canal with Suez Canal Net Tonnage less than 10000.00 tons

1 - In case vessel will not be able to lift the mooring boats, A Zodiac will be provided and no tug boat will be imposed to the vessel.
2 - If the Vessel built with a one anchor located forward, No tug boat will be imposed to the vessel.
