In view of the congestion of container terminals and in order to mitigate the losses, the Customs Authority has taken the following decisions:

Shipping agents are allowed to transport and store shipments imported from abroad that do not comply with banking procedures to customs warehouses established outside ports and dry ports in their name, in accordance with established conditions and procedures.

If it is impossible to transfer them in the name of a shipping agent according to the documents, they are transferred in the name of the importer, with the customs pledge after completing the procedures for the final release of these shipments, except after submitting the delivery order issued by the shipping agent and completing the rest of the documents necessary in this regard.
