EGYPT COVID-19 UPDATE

IN VIEW OF NEW STRAINS SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS IN INDIA, BRAZIL & LATIN AMERICA

Reference to Ministry of Health & Population Circular No. (10) for the year 2021 received from the Directorate of Health Affairs (Quarantine) regarding the spread of new strains of Coronavirus COVID-19 in India, Brazil and Latin America and conducting a rapid test analysis ID NOW COVID-19 TEST at entry points For those intending to enter the Arab Republic of Egypt

The arrivals who will have positive results, will return on same mean of transport.

The arrivals who will have negative results, quarantine will be applied for 14 days in the place which will be specified by Health Authority and another PCR test will be carried at the end of the period.

 

With the continued implementation of the Prime Minister’s Decree No. 1684 (Article Two) regarding health controls, procedures and requirements for those coming to the Arab Republic of Egypt, whether Egyptians or foreigners, arrivals will not enter the country until obtaining a PCR certificate stating that they are free from the emerging coronavirus, COVID-19.
