Please find attached copy of the following Customs Authority Circulars Nos. 63 & 64 regarding ACID:

  • Customs Authority circular No. 63 for the year 2021  stating that shipments arriving without the ACID identification No. will not be discharged in Egyptian seaports & will be re-exported.
  • Customs Authority circular No. 64 for the year 2021  stating that in case the name of consignee is (TO ORDER) and the name of consignee is stated in the Notify party (provided that all shipping documents of ownership is in the name of the endorsed to party), it can be amended in the shipping list as in the Notify without being considered as an omission or a case of waiving
