Please find attached copies of SCA Periodicals regarding the renewal of the following circulars concerning Dry Bulk vessels:

All SCA periodicals are applied to Dry Bulk vessels sailing from the port of origin from July 1st till December 31st, 2023.

This periodical shall remain in force until 31st December 2023.

  • SCA circular (2/2017) for vessels operating between Australian ports & ports at North west Europe:

 

Amendment of Circular Number 2/2017 dated 12/18/2022 is still in order

Circular Number  2/2017

Dry Bulk vessels (Laden or Ballast) coming from (or heading to) ports at North West Europe  (starting from CADIZ port  and its Northern ports) and heading to (or coming from) the below areas at Australia shall be granted the following rebate percentage:

A) Ports located at the North West of CAIRNS port and ending with DARWIN port a rebate of 25% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

A) Ports located at the North West of CAIRNS port and ending with DARWIN port a rebate of 20% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports located at the West of DARWIN port until before GERALDTON port at West of Australia port a rebate of 55% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports located at the West of DARWIN port until before GERALDTON port at West of Australia port a rebate of 50% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Ports located at South West, South, and East of Australia starting from GERALDTON port at the South West of Australia and ending at CARINS port at the East of Australia port a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Ports located at South West, South, and East of Australia starting from GERALDTON port at the South West of Australia and ending at CARINS port at the East of Australia port a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

  • SCA circular (3/2018) for vessels operating between Americas Eastern ports (before Brazilian ports) and Asian ports:

Amendment of Circular Number 3/2018 dated 12/18/2022 is still in order

Circular Number  3/2018

Laden or Ballast Dry Bulk vessels coming from (or heading to) the East Coast of North America (ports located at the North of Savannah Port) and heading to (or coming from) the following areas shall be granted rebates as follows:

A) Ports West of India subcontinent starting from Karachi until Cochin port: shall be granted a rebate of 10% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports located East of Cochin port up to port Klang: shall be granted a rebate of 40% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports located East of Cochin port up to port Klang: shall be granted a rebate of 30% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Port Klang and its Eastern ports (including Far East area): shall be granted a rebate of a rebate of 55% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Port Klang and its Eastern ports (including Far East area): shall be granted a rebate of a rebate of 45% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

Laden or Ballast Dry Bulk vessels coming from (or heading to) Savannah ports (Lat. 32 6’ 39” N) and its southern ports (including ports of US Gulf, Mississippi River, Caribbean sea, and Latin America (before Brazilian ports)) and heading to (or coming from) the following areas shall be granted rebates as follows:

A) Ports West of Indian Subcontinent starting from Karachi until Cochin port: shall be granted a rebate of 25% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

A) Ports West of Indian Subcontinent starting from Karachi until Cochin port: shall be granted a rebate of 15% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports located East of Cochin port up to Port Klang: shall be granted a rebate of 65% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports located East of Cochin port up to Port Klang: shall be granted a rebate of 65% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Port Klang and its Eastern ports (including Far East area): shall be granted a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Port Klang and its Eastern ports (including Far East area): shall be granted a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

  • SCA circular (2/2021) for vessels operating between Mauritanian ports (and its Southern ports at west Africa) & ports at the Arabian Gulf & its Eastern ports, and Far East

 

Amendment of Circular Number 2/2021 dated 12/18/2022 is still in order

Circular Number  2/2021

Laden or Ballast Dry Bulk vessels coming from (or heading to)  West of Africa (starting from ports of Mauritania and its Southern ports up to ports of Guinea) and heading to (or coming from) the following areas shall be granted rebates as follows:

 

Laden/Ballast “Dry Bulk Vessels” operation between Mauritanian Ports (and its Southern Ports at West Africa) and ports at the Far East (starting from port Klang and its Eastern ports) shall be granted a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

A)  ”Arabian Gulf” ports (ports within the Arabian Gulf starting from the port of Muscat) shall be granted a rebate of 15% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports West of the Indian subcontinent starting from Karachi until Cochin port:  shall be granted a rebate of 25% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

C) Ports located East of Cochin port  (including Far East area):  shall be granted a rebate of a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

Laden or Ballast Dry Bulk vessels coming from (or heading to) West of Africa (starting from ports of Guinea and its Southern ports) and heading to (or coming from) the following areas shall be granted rebates as follows:

A) Arabian Gulf ports (ports within the Arabian Gulf starting from the port of Muscat) shall be granted a rebate of 70% of Suez Canal normal tolls.

B) Ports of the Indian Subcontinent starting from Karachi and its eastern ports (including the Far East area): shall be granted a rebate of 75% of Suez Canal normal tolls.
