We are pleased to share a significant update on the progress of the new Red Sea Container Terminals (RSCT), currently under construction at Sokhna Port.

RSCT has reached a major milestone in its path toward operational readiness with the arrival of its first shipment of terminal equipment on 27th July 2025. The consignment includes:

  • 3 remote-controlled Ship-to-Shore (STS) cranes
  • 12 fully automated Rubber-Tyred Gantry Cranes (RTGCs)

This delivery marks a critical step forward, bringing RSCT closer to its planned launch. Once operational, the state-of-the-art terminal is expected to enhance efficiency and elevate service capabilities at Sokhna Port — a development that will positively impact our shared operations.

We will continue to follow RSCT’s progress closely and keep you updated as they approach their go-live date.
