Al-Ahram, Egypt’s leading national newspaper, published yesterday and today a tribute and condolence notice for the late Major General Mahmoud Hatem El Kady, Founder of KADMAR Group, Dean of maritime transport in Egypt and the Arab world, and one of Egypt’s distinguished Armed Forces veterans.
Al-Ahram also reported that H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, delegated a representative to extend condolences and offer sympathy to the family — a gracious gesture which we deeply value and sincerely appreciate.
The publication highlighted key aspects of his national and professional journey, his pioneering role in establishing a strong Egyptian maritime entity, and his lasting contributions to the maritime transport sector and the wider maritime community in Egypt and the Arab world.
One week has passed since his departure, yet his legacy remains deeply present through the national and professional values he upheld, and through a lifetime of dedication, leadership, and sincere service to the nation.
May Allah bestow His mercy upon him, grant him the highest place in Paradise, and reward him abundantly for all he gave.

أسبوعٌ مرّ على الفقد، لكن سيرته لا تزال حاضرة بما تركه من إرث وطني ومهني، وبما قدمه من عطاء وريادة وخدمة صادقة للوطن
