KADMAR Circular No. 32/2026 – SCA Circular No. 02/2026 – Temporary 12% Surcharge (Laden/Ballast) Containerships Transiting the Suez Canal

As per the SCA circular, all Laden/Ballast Containerships transiting the Suez Canal in both directions will be charged with a surcharge of 12% from total Suez Canal transit dues (including normal transit dues in addition to surcharges for tiers of containers on weather deck).

Please note that this surcharge is temporary and may be amended or cancelled according to the maritime market conditions.

This circular is applicable to containerships transiting the Suez Canal as from 15th of July 2026.
