Al-Ahram, Egypt’s leading national newspaper, published yesterday and today a tribute and condolence notice for the late Major General Mahmoud Hatem El Kady, Founder of KADMAR Group, Dean of maritime transport in Egypt and the Arab world, and one of Egypt’s distinguished Armed Forces veterans.
In a highly appreciated gesture, H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, delegated a representative to extend condolences and offer sympathy to the family of the late Major General Mahmoud Hatem El Kady. This honourable gesture is deeply valued by the family and by KADMAR Group.
Al-Ahram also highlighted aspects of his national and professional journey, his pioneering role in establishing a leading Egyptian maritime entity, and his lasting contributions to maritime transport and the wider maritime community in Egypt and the Arab world.
One week has passed since his departure, yet his legacy remains present through the national and professional values he upheld, and through a lifetime of dedication, leadership, and sincere service to the nation.

أسبوعٌ مرّ على الفقد، لكن سيرته لا تزال حاضرة بما تركه من إرث وطني ومهني، وبما قدمه من عطاء وريادة وخدمة صادقة للوطن
