KADMAR Shipping wishes to update its principals and business partners following the recent incident involving the vessels Energos Winter and Gaslog Salem at Damietta Port.

Earlier, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources confirmed that the incident was promptly contained by firefighting and emergency response teams, with no casualties and no disruption to operational activities.

The Egyptian Cabinet subsequently confirmed that the incident resulted from a missile/drone attack and stated that the competent authorities are continuing their investigations while taking all necessary measures to safeguard national security.

We would like to reassure our principals and customers that all Egyptian seaports, including Damietta Port, remain fully operational. Vessel movements, cargo handling, berthing operations, customs clearance, and all related port services are continuing under normal operating conditions without interruption.

KADMAR Shipping remains in close contact with the relevant authorities and port operators and will promptly communicate any official updates should they arise.
