In response to requests from containership owners & operators and considering the recent positive developments in the security situation in the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab Strait, the Suez Canal Authority has decided to offer containerships a rebate of 15% (from normal dues stipulated by the transit dues table + surcharges levied on tiers of containers) (Loaded/Ballast) of SCNT 130.000 tons or above upon transit without the need to submit any requests or documents.

This circular is applicable to containerships transiting the Suez Canal as from 15th May 2025, and for a period of 90 days.

Attached copy of SCA circular No. 3/2025 for your easy reference.
