Egypt has re-raised fuel prices to link energy prices to the international markets.

The price increase is effective from 18th October 2024.

As usual, the changes will push up prices for transport, food products, and other goods.

This is the fifteenth time that the government of Egypt has increased fuel prices since austerity measures were announced in late 2015 to implement the economic reform plans.
